Ah Mondays, no better day for procrastination. I sat down at my computer with every intention of doing spreadsheet stuff but found myself opening up 5 new browser tabs to accommodate my latest obsession -- Anime food!

There is something quite enchanting about illustrated food, and when it comes to life in animation it is even more mesmerising. The food is unashamedly idealised, the fluffiness of the rice, the glistening icing, oozing sauces all basking in a steamy glow... it's enough to make you drool all over your keyboard. And don't even get me started on the cocktail sausages cut to look like an octopus! I could do a whole post dedicated to anthromorphic kawaii food.
