Hello! I'm sorry for my lack of posting, I've just returned from a long trip to Hong Kong. A mixture of pleasure and business, I spent time with family, sourced fabric and put lots of new designs into development for next season. Hong Kong moves at a frenetic pace that allows you to accomplish a lot in one day. I enjoy it for a short time, rushing from the fabric market to meetings and whatsapping my production team on the commute. However, now that I am back in London and looking at a sparkling new year in the face, I am looking forward to being able to spend an entire day drawing at my desk again. I feel that it is when we sit quietly and allow ourselves to daydream that our best ideas come to us.

So here I am sitting in my PJs reflecting on the year that is about to pass and thinking of all I hope will happen in 2017. Mostly I am wishing for a peaceful, healthy year of contentment for all around me and for you too. I hope that Book of Deer will continue to bring you clothing that makes you feel unique and beautiful, and I hope that you too will carve out quiet time for yourself and flex your creative muscles.
