I met the lovely Adele from HK Magazine last week. We had a nice chat in the upstairs room of Daydream Nation and she asked me all sorts of questions about fashion. She asked me where I go to shop and be inspired... I wish I had a more sophisticated answer but Mong Kok is still my shopping haven, does that make me sound 15? Not only is it a cross-section of all the fashion trends in Asia, it's the best place to be informed of all the layers of influences in local pop culture. The organised chaos and sensory overload is very stimulating and re-energizing on days when you're just jaded by your computer screen!
