The Work of Miriam Marlene Waldner
I first fell in love with Miriam Marlene Waldner's work on Instagram. Berlin-based Miriam is known for her cinematic, nostalgic photography, often telling stories about growing up and drawing visual parallels with movies such as The Virgin Suicides. Miriam shoots with an analogue camera and often uses friends and family members for models which contributes to the intimacy of her work. I was thrilled when Miriam recently featured Book of Deer's Sakna Snow Dress in her shoot. The pictures were published alongside an interview for Indie Magazine, which can be found here:
