Book of Deer Award – 40 under 40 2013
Greetings from sunny London! I have so much to tell you about my trip to San Sebastian, but for now I won’t bombard you with food pictures as I have bigger news to share…
Yesterday, Perspective Global announced their 40 Under 40 Young Design Talents of 2013 and I was lucky enough to be selected for the Fashion/Accessories category!!!
The award ceremony was held at the ultra swish Farrington Interiors in Hong Kong and my wonderful sister (and Book of Deer muse!) went along to receive the award on my behalf.

I’m off to London for 2 weeks…. with a wee holiday to San Sebastian sandwiched in there! I’m very excited!!

Birthday Musings
Today is my birthday! I am turning the grand old age of 27 which sounds positively ancient to me. I am now old enough to realise that youth is fleeting but at the same time still very new to this path that I am on. Book of Deer popped into my head when I was 24 and it has taken 2 and a half years to get to where it is today. I can only imagine what the next year will bring and for this reason alone I am pretty excited about being another year older!
Here’s hoping for a very creative year ahead! Thank you for being so kind to this little old lady… x Eilidh

Book of Deer’s 1st Birthday
It has been exactly one year ago to the day that we launched Book of Deer’s first collection with a big party at Daydream Nation in Hong Kong. It has been a wonderful journey so far, watching Book of Deer take it’s first baby steps to steadily taking more confident strides.

Sorry for the techy problems
Our website was down for a big chunk of time today so apologies to all the visitors who came knocking. Apparently something fried in a server in LA (or something along those lines) and as a result we went missing for a few hours along with many other websites.
